Google Optimization in the SEO Process

. - By: Rajeev Guglani, 2008-03-24

Google optimization is one of the most critical factors for search engine optmisation campaign. Google is above all the search engines. Google is based on the key factors as the Google page rank, the renowned Google sand box and inbound links.

Google optimization depends on the three key factors, Google page rank, Google sand box and the inbound links. In the process of optimizing a website you should always see the inbound links pointing to your website domain and pages. Google makes all the difference with the quality of one way inbound links. So you should concentrate on getting quality inbound links for your website. This can be done by article writing, buying links and link exchanges. With the quality inbound links your page rank will increase by itself.

The effect of Google sandbox is on the new domain names and holds them in a filter. Generally all domain names are not held in the filter. Normally by using competitive keywords, adding relevant content and linking external sites to yours can get you out of the Google sand box. One needs to keep patience in such a situation and keep on working according to Google guidelines.

There are certain guidelines for Google optimization.

• Always defining a clear navigation structure for the website. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link.
• Create a sitemap to your users with links that point to all parts of your site. Create a useful, information-rich site with pages that clearly and accurately describe the content about your services.
• Add the words in the content users would type to find the pages.
• Always try to use alt text instead of images to display important keywords, contents or links.
• Make sure that your title and alt tags are relevant, descriptive and accurate.
• Keep the links on your pages to less than 100. Get other relevant sites link to yours. Manually submit your site to directories and search engines.
• Submit your site to Google. http://www.google.com/addurl.html.
• Submit an xml site map file at Google webmaster tools. Google uses sitemap file to learn about the structure and coverage of your site.
• Submit your site to relevant directories such as open directory project and yahoo directory as well as to other industry specific expert sites.
• Upload the robot.txt file on your web browser. This file tells crawlers which directories can or can not be crawled.
• Use robot.txt to prevent crawling of search result pages or other auto generated pages that don’t add much value for users coming from search engines.
• Make pages for users, not for search engines.
• Avoid “doorway” pages with little or no original content.

Some of the don’ts for Google optimization are.

• Don't deceive your users or present different content to search engines than you display to users, which is commonly referred to as "cloaking."
• Don't link to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web, as your own ranking and PR may be affected adversely by those links.
• Never participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or Page Rank.
• Don't use hidden text or hidden links on your site.
• Don't employ cloaking or sneaky redirects.
• Never send automated queries to Google.
• Don't create multiple pages, sub domains, or domains with substantially duplicate content. This may get your site black listed in Google.
• Don't create pages that install viruses or Trojans.
• Do not use unethical tricks to improve search engine rankings
• Don not see any broken links and see site html is correct.
• Try not to use “?” character in dynamic pages.
• Do not use JavaScript, cookies, session IDs, frames, DHTML, or Flash as search engine spiders. This may search engine spiders create trouble crawling your web site.

Real Estate Website Traffic - SEM -

By: Andy Steuer, 2008-03-24

Search Engine Marketing: Drawing traffic to your real estate website

What is search engine marketing (SEM)? and why it's important for getting ahead of your competition in real estate marketing.

1. Sponsored (paid) listings are a great way to get fast visibility on the major search engines. Also called pay-per-click, (PPC) sponsored listings are those that show up at the top of search engines such as Google in a blue box or in a column along the right side of the page. These results are clearly labeled "Sponsored listings." The more popular the keyword, the more paid listings come up.
2. Lead tracking can help your real estate business become stronger by attracting quality leads. Lead tracking brings both short- and long-term benefits to your company - giving you instant access to information about each sales prospect while also helping to streamline and manage the sales process.
3. Email marketing is the icing on the SEM cake - it impresses your prospects by allowing you to send them valuable information on the market and it helps you to stay fresh in their minds.
4. Third-party SEM providers can take the mystery and work out of effective marketing. If you do not have the time to do a comprehensive SEM campaign, or you simply want to spend less time on the Internet and more time with your customers, you can go through a third-party provider to run your SEM campaign for you.

But before you start your campaign, you have some work to do.

Targeting your customers

Most likely, you know yourself and your business pretty well. But have you ever sat down and wrote out lists of words and phrases that other people might use to describe you? Probably not - but now is the time to do it.

Even if you're using a third-party provider, you need to know who your potential customers are to a T. What are they looking for and why would they want to use you to help them buy or sell their home?

All aspects of real estate search engine marketing - sponsored listings, lead tracking, and email marketing - rely on keywords in one way or another to work.

Keywords are key to SEM

What are keywords, and where should they go in your site? Keywords are simply, well, key words that determine which category your site will be listed under in search engines and directories. In terms of sponsored listings, the keywords you choose to bid on will determine where your ads show up.

You have to figure out what words and phrases home buyers and sellers are potentially going to use to find you, determine which are the most important to your business, then use them accordingly.

Your website will attract more hits if you spend some time doing this seemingly mundane, but extremely important, job. There are just a few simple guidelines for an effective keyword plan, but they do take some time to do well.

Brainstorming your Keywords

Take an hour or so to sit down and write every single imaginable word that someone might use to find your real estate service. For example, if you specialize in high-end new constructions in the Los Angeles area, you may come up with the following:

* Luxury Brentwood homes
* Upscale Los Angeles real estate
* Best neighborhoods Los Angeles

However, not everyone who is looking for "upscale Los Angeles real estate" will come up with that phrase. So you need to think about every conceivable term that they might use to describe the same thing. Such as:

* West Side Homes
* Luxury condos
* Southern California real estate
* Full service brokerage
* Mansions Beverly Hills
* Best schools Los Angeles
* And on and on...

The important thing to remember in brainstorming is that you should try to think of what you would look for, and branch out from there. The more specific your keywords are - the better. It's best to come up with 40-50 keywords and phrases, and then narrow them down to the top 20 absolute most effective. The more specific you are, the better your chances are of having words that differ from your competition. Remember, in Pay-per-click, the more popular a keyword is, the more expensive it is.

If you really are at a loss for relevant keywords, try using Wordtracker - a site that suggests and evaluates the keywords most relevant to your business.

Once you have a solid list of keywords and keyword phrases, you can use that information to build other aspects of your SEM campaign, including lead tracking.

Beyond keywords - creating a better business focus

Aside from drawing traffic to your sponsored listings and real estate lead tracking efforts, brainstorming keywords has an added benefit - giving you more focus in your real estate business.

Times are changing in the real estate business. Models that worked for you in 2003 may not work in 2006. The more you can specialize your services and differentiate yourself from the herd, the better. Creating keyword lists can lead to all kinds of unexpected new ideas for selling your services. You might come up with a new idea for an email marketing campaign, or a better way of attracting hard-to-reach leads and thus bring more real estate traffic to your real estate website.

For example, say you come up with the keyword phrase "retirement homes." You then do a little research and discover that many baby boomers are looking for homes that are smaller, but still have luxurious details. You could then use that information to write an email about how smaller homes are fast becoming the size of choice for many retirees. You never know what keywords will spark a new idea, so be open-minded!

Writing Effective Web Content

- By: Akhil Shahani, 2008-03-15

So, you’ve got this great business idea which needs an information rich portal to support it. As erstwhile editor of the school mag, you fancy your chances of putting together some creative writing as web content. Right? Wrong, we say! Writing for the Web is quite different from writing for print publication. Why is it so? Mainly because of the way readers access and read information on the net.

People use the Internet mainly to find information, not to read it. People who read printed books expect a linear progression from one chapter to another, and are used to long pages of text. However, when they access the web for information, their expectations are very differ¬ent. Users tend to scan text on screen, pick keywords, sentences, and paragraphs of text. They do not want to see excessively heavy web content.

Visitors to a website read slower off the computer screen compared to when they read from a piece of paper. Large blocks of text, is therefore, unsuited to this media. Also, when large quantities of written matter take time to download, visitors are easily bored, or worse, scared off.

You should keep these differences in mind when creating the content for your business website. The first step in the writ¬ing process is audience profiling - know who you are writing for and what their preferences are. Understand your audience and write for them.

To make your life easier and your website more productive, we have put together the 5 most important guidelines for creating effective web content:

Be concise: Write only half of what you would for a print publication. Keep the pages short to avoid having to scroll down the screen. Long, flowing text is not suitable for on-line delivery. Get the users’ attention with clear, concise writing. Avoid "marketese" - using buzzwords and extravagant adjectives. Keep promotional writing within reasonable limits.

Write for scannability: Make your pages easy to skim through and locate the key points of interest. Use the "inverse pyramid" structure - write the major points at the beginning, and larger chunks of information under subtopics. Write topics so that they can be read in any order. Break up the information into smaller and easily readable pieces. Use headings, lists and colored text to draw the viewers’ attention.

Let the users choose: Most important, leave the choice to the reader. Let them decide how much information they need. Provide hypertext links for longer, more detailed pages. Express just one main idea under each topic. Eliminate unnecessary information and provide links to related topics, which can be accessed at will. Explain where the link will take them and what it contains so that the users can judge for themselves. Let your visitors go where they want to, when they want to.

Make it personal: The web is a very impersonal environment and many people are quite intimidated by it. Write in a friendly tone, but do not talk down to your audience. Try to keep your writing style approachable and credible in order to encourage users to trust you and therefore purchase from you.

Edit and review content: Your web site is only as good as the content that is on it. Review it periodically to make necessary changes and remove old, outdated information. Proofread! Proofread! Proofread! to avoid those irritating typos.

Concise writing, information chunking, and hyper linking to more detailed information will help you deliver good, readable on-line content that will sustain the user’s interest. And that’s the key to effective web content.

Increase your web traffic!!

- By: Mistina Thomson, 2008-03-15

Getting your website in the faces of those on the internet! PEOPLE
MAKING A LIVING ONLINE!

Super Users! Don’t under estimate this group. They can reach 1000’s
in a minute!

Let’s now discuss some of the ideas for the promotion of your website.

First, Websites out there that pay user to surf, click, read, and
promote. I say AutoSurf Exchanges; of course I own 4 of them? Sure… but
think about the activity that surrounds using these types of advertising
venues. Starting, stopping, checking the surf bar (that credits the
member) EVERY DAY! Checking if the surf timer is still running occurs
frequently. Your website (or capture page) is bound to be seen… a full
PAGE view, not a PopUp, PopUnder, Pop etc., Not links sitting in a
corner, etc.! Next, the uniqueness of the traffic sent has to be counted.
1000’s of unique IP addresses from all around the world, once again
daily! The days of ‘limited bandwidth’ is dead, if your site has
limited bandwidth capabilities… don’t ever dream of ever topping the internet
search engines, or even making it online. Remember, as of March 2008,
there are 8 plus billion websites and growing. It’s a race.

Second, you can offer your visitors a free-bie such as an e-Book or may
be free software that can be downloaded from your website or directly
to him to a vendor of whom you are an affiliate.

The most important part is the content, in other words you can say that
Content is King. So try and have excellent content related to the
theme of your site and update them regularly. Provide unique information
and resources for which your visitor should be ever grateful to you. It
should be easy to read and understand with no grammatical mistakes and
spelling errors. If the visitors are happy they will hang around and
explore your site further.

Provide opportunities to submit articles and also their websites to a
very easy to use link directory thus getting them more involved with
your website.

Your website should carry a Professional appearance. It should be
perfect with respect to design, content and display of advertisements as it
will motivate the visitor to remain longer.

Well Social Media marketing through social book marking and social
networking can also be the two effective ways for website promotion.

You can use articles as free advertising. These are often more
effective than ads as people will be more inclined to read an article rather
than an ad.

And to increase the rank of your page it is important to build up the
number of backward links your website. You can do this by e-mailing
other websites preferably in the same business sector as your own and
asking if they would be willing to swap links with your site.

You can also set up a small Site blog as it is a good way to build a
regular flow of traffic to your website(s).

Here are some of the basic important things to remember when promoting
your website.

1) Make sure you have some unique content in your website as nobody
wants to read the same old stuff.
2) Writing articles is another new trend these days so as to promote
the website and also it helps you gain the backward links.
3) You should always keep an eye and update your website with all the
latest happenings and unique content, to avoid your website from
becoming stale.
4) Directory Submissions - targeted links at high PR directories
5) Blog and Forum Postings - to high PR and frequently crawled sites
6) Social Book-marking
7) Classified Ads
8) Article Marketing - submit to high PR directories, could also serve
as link baits
9) Link Exchange - with relevant sites authority sites

And if you’re determine to do any of this, it’s not that difficult, and
if you learn how to advertise and promote your website it’s to your
best advantage, you will make a massive difference to your traffic flow,
in turn equals more sales.

Top Ten Internet Tools For Experts For 2008

By: Gihan Perera

I'm sure you've heard of "Web 2.0" and tools like Facebook, Flickr and YouTube. But you might still be wondering exactly how to use them in your speaking / training / coaching / consulting business.

Fair enough. After all, if you don't know how these can help you, it's difficult to get the motivation to find out more about them, isn't it?

In this article, I'm going to list what I think are the most important Web 2.0 tools for information experts. But I won't just tell you what they are. I'll also show you ways you can use these in your business. I've deliberately chosen practical examples for experts like you.

These are in no particular order, but they are all important.

1. Blogger

Blogger is Google's no-cost blogging service. You can have a blog up and running in 10 minutes, and join the tens of thousands of other bloggers world-wide.

Practical application: Create a blog that answers the most common questions you get from clients, audiences and colleagues. In other words, it's a "FAQ" site, which demonstrates your expertise as it grows.

2. Flickr

Flickr is one of the world's leading photo-sharing sites. Upload photos, organise them in albums and search for related photos.

Practical application: Use Flickr to find photos you can use in books, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations and articles. Yes, you have to respect copyright, but if you know how to search, you'll find thousands of photos that their owners have made available at no charge - even for commercial use.

3. YouTube

YouTube wasn't the first video-sharing service, and it's spawned off a host of other copycat services. But it's still the most popular, and a must for presenters. After all, you're already making live educational presentations - why not make them available on YouTube as well?

Practical application: Get recordings of yourself, and put short extracts on-line. Tom Murrell does this with brief extracts from presentations; Matt Hern does it with interviews he conducts as host of a TV show; and I do it with an educational video clip I created in my lounge room.

4. SlideShare

SlideShare is like YouTube for slide shows. It makes it easy to upload PowerPoint presentations and share them with the world.

Practical application: Create a PowerPoint presentation and upload it! That's exactly what I did with my "Internet Marketing in a Web 2.0 World" presentation.

5. Skype

Skype is the world's most popular software for making phone calls over the Internet. At first, you could only make calls from one computer to another, but their most recent services allow you to make low-cost calls to other telephone users.

Practical application: Use it for recording audio products (e.g. CDs or MP3 downloads). Get "Pamela for Skype", a low-cost software program that records Skype calls. Then use it to record interviews with clients or other experts.

6. Shelfari

Shelfari is a relatively new (but rapidly growing) book sharing site. Upload your list of books to the site, and then connect with other readers with similar interests. If you're an avid reader (and you should be, if you're going to keep up with your area of expertise), this is a high-quality networking tool and an excellent way to find other important books published in your field.

Practical application: Publish book lists - e.g. a "Recommended Reading" list - on your Web site. For example, I publish my "wish list" so people know what to buy me for gifts!

7. Facebook

Facebook is the phenomenally successful social networking site that started as a service for Harvard students to keep in touch with each other.

Practical application: Join Facebook and join discussion forums related to your area of expertise. And if nothing else, get the experience of a social networking site so you'll be ready when you create your own membership site for your community (see next item !)

8. Ning

Ning lets you create your own little version of Facebook. Granted, it probably won't turn into a multi-billion-dollar company, but it can still be a powerful tool for building your own "membership site".

Practical application: Sean Weafer created the Rebel Island community for like-minded thinkers. I've also created my own private community for First Step clients.

9. Hipcast

Hipcast is a low-cost service for uploading your audio and video files, and for publishing podcasts. It takes all the "heavy lifting" out of publishing multimedia clips on the Internet.

Practical application: Publish a "podcast", which is just a fancy name for an audio newsletter. I do mine by simply reading out articles from this e-zine, then recording them and uploading them to Hipcast.

10. Elance

Elance is one of the best-known outsourcing networks. It gives you access to suppliers around the world, ready to bid on your projects.

Practical application: Use Elance for outsourcing work that you don't have the time or expertise to do yourself (or in your team). I've used it for ghostwriting, graphic design, book layout, audio transcripts, programming, logo design, and more.

OK, that's enough for now ...

That's ten! And I didn't even get to mention eBay, iTunes, Clickbank and a few other important Internet tools.

The important thing to do is to start using these tools. Not all at once, of course. But as soon as possible. You really must experience them for yourself, because they will open your mind to other possibilities.

Ten things you need to know about Web Hosting

- By: Braydon300 Braydon300, 2008-03-12

Web Hosting

An internet service provider who has more than one server, on which files are uploaded and can be viewed on the internet, is known as a web host.

Most of the online customers have their own domain name and in order for the domain to be visible online, it has to be configured on Domain Name Servers, which enables rest of the internet to see the domain’s name. It is similar to the telephone directory, the main difference being that it has IP address and a fixed domain name.

Web hosting requires expertise and technical knowledge in several internet procedures and protocols. In case of requirements to run scripts like address books, blog scripts etc, the web hosting server provides support to the users.

Every web hosting account has a control panel. Some of them are good and some bad. Presently, most web hosting companies offer very good control panel services. Control panel has lot of videos which show how to add email addresses, password protection and other things which is needed for the web hosting account.

Web hosting is of several types – free hosting, image hosting, shared hosting, clustered hosting, reseller hosting, virtual private server hosting, dedicated hosting and collocated hosting.

Support for UNIX based web hosts in higher than for Windows based web hosts. UNIX has been around longer than Windows and has been the primary operating system that internet servers have been hosted to. Most internet protocols like IP and TCP were developed on UNIX. Moreover, UNIX servers seem to be more stable than windows servers. In case anyone requires uploading a script written specifically for Windows server; he /she would require a Windows web host to do that.

The main things to look for in a web hosting service is to see that the company is offering a minimum of 500 MB hard drive space, random amount of blah and bandwidth. It is best to ask friends and search online before selecting the best web hosting services. One should look for hosts that have control panel and at least 1000MB of bandwidth and 250MB of space.

When looking for a cheap web hosting service provider, it’s essential to keep in view of certain details:

-Disk quota – See that the plan you choose accommodates your present needs and takes care of your future growth. There will be relatively minimum amount of difference in the cost for a 30GB and 60GB disk space, so it’s better to go in for 60GB hard disk.

-Bandwidth – Make sure you have the required amount of bandwidth, as cheap web hosting providers at times do not provide bandwidth as required. Basic plans offer 100GB of bandwidth and premium plans offer unlimited bandwidth. Always check out the company’s user acceptable policy.

-Email accounts- Depending on the size of your company, you may require 25, 40 or more email accounts. The cheap web hosting provider should be able to accommodate your current and future needs of email accounts. Also look for providers that offer a range of email tools, like auto responders, mailing lists, ability to manage email accounts, spam filtering and custom mail filtering.

-MySQL Database- Ensure that the cheap web hosting provider has the open source MySQL Database.

-It’s helpful if the cheap web hosting provider provides you with a dedicated IP. For ecommerce website hosting, a dedicated IP is essential for SSL URLs.

And it is also useful for those who are looking for bulk mailing services.

Bulk mailing services through postcards usually result in extraordinary response for the product. If you are planning to avail bulk mailing services then be assured that nothing comes as cheap and as effective as postcard marketing. Bulk mailing can be done online as well as offline through newspapers and magazines. Bulk mailing services always ensure positive and effective response and has thus become quite a popular way of marketing today.

If you wish to offer some personalized communication within these mailing services then you can opt for the personalized postcards. While marketing the services within the neighborhood or community one can print personalized postcards as an invitation for a service demonstration or for a small seminar on the service.

Postcards come in different sizes and sometimes if the client so wishes the companies also makes custom sized postcards for them. While printing a postcard the client must keep the message short and succinct to drive the message in faster. This will ensure a positive response. Printing and mailing postcards is the cheapest way of attracting the right consumers.

While the client chooses the postcard marketing company, he must make sure that the company also offers to bulk mail the cards. The most common features which are offered by the postcard marketing companies are:

 Providing graphic designs
 Printing postcards
 Providing and preparing mailing list
 Addressing
 Mailing services
 Lamination

The client may choose to design his own postcard. But if he wishes the company will do it for him. These companies have a wide range of graphics and designs to choose from. And thus the client will have a custom made postcard ready for marketing. The postcards are generally printed in bright and contrasting colors to attract consumers. The postcard mailing companies also offer to create the consumers mailing list. If the client does not have a prospective consumer list they offer to make an effective consumer mailing list. Sometimes they also provide suggestions for mailing to prospective and target consumers.

Postcard marketing has become one of the most successful product campaigning tools. It is effective for reaching out to bulk consumers as well as a small group of people. It is affordable and fast and it has the added advantage of returning back to the mailer if the address is not found. Thus the client will have an exact count on how many consumers he has reached.

Web traffic

- By: Mistina Thomson, 2008-03-10

The majority of internet users actually read the information that they
find online; therefore, there is a good chance for you that your
website content will actually be read. You should try and make your website
content more easy to understand and attractive. It is also important to
note that high quality content is likely to attract better
advertisements. So make sure that your website grabs it all.

Well, the design of your website is also important. In fact, it may be
just as important as your content. You want your website to look
professional, attractive, and appealing. You will want to go with plain,
simple, yet professional. If you need assistance with the design of your
website, you may want to think about hiring the services of a
professional web designer.

A lot of people also try setting up multiple websites that connect to
your main site. And believe me this is actually a very effective way to
build up your hit count, but only if your site's content makes for
excellent reading or viewing. Without quality content, your site will soon
stagnate, and all the other connecting sites and blogs with it. If your
site has quality content, then this should be no problem for you.

And let me tell you that the best way to see an increase of visitors to
your site is to make sure you have a large amount of unique and
relevant content on your site. The search engines like the content that
readers will find useful and informative. Make sure and try to provide as
much value and information in your writing as possible and place
everything you write on a different page of your site. Doing this aids your
site's popularity and results in it becoming an online "authority"
website. This can result in a massive jump in search engine rankings for your
site. The best part is that search engine traffic is completely free.

The visitors in your website themselves is a great source of
advertising, because once they visit your website they usually recommend their
friends to visit your website and spreads from there, resulting in higher
targeted traffic. For this to happen, your website should also be
attention grabbing.

Another effective way to invite targeted traffic to your website is
buying advertising space on websites that discuss topics about your
product. You can be sure that the people visiting your website are interested
and may possibly buy your product. You can do free advertising for
your website as well. And by doing such you can attract a lot of visitors
for your website.

We all know that website promotion is really important so that one can
attract as many visitors as possible.
The aim is to use the web traffic statistics to figure out how well and
how popular your site is working for your visitors. One way to
determine this is to find out how long on average your visitors spend on your
site. If the time spent is relatively brief, it usually indicates an
underlying problem.

Finally, if you notice that users have started finding your website by
typing in your company name, all it means is that you have achieved a
significant level of brand recognition, and this is a sure sign of your
success!!!

Socializing Online Could Be Your Key Component

- By: Michael Podlesny, 2008-03-08

I recently watched an interview on cable television on one of those financial networks. The gentleman was interviewing billionaire Donald Trump.

I am sure you have heard of "The Donald". He is a very successful real estate mogul and businessman. Throw in the television show, "The Apprentice", and he encompasses what seems to be every aspect of business.

However did you know he didn`t do it alone? Sure he made some excellent decisions, but without help from others there is no way he could be where he is. He doesn`t drive the cranes that lift the steel girders into place in the high rise apartment complexes he builds, nor does he operate the cement trucks to poor the concrete for the foundations either.

But what he does do well is socialize and network. He meets the right people, gets to the know them, and fits them in to his plans to help make his company even more successful.

It takes years of excellent planning, maybe a little luck, definitely hard work and just importantly, the ability to socialize to get to Trump`s level. Whatever your business dreams and ambitions are, by socializing and networking, you can meet the right people to accelerate them faster.

In this article I want to concentrate on how to properly socialize online to help your business, and give you some examples of what you should do to build your "popularity" so to speak.

A friend of mine owns a rental property repair business. Most of his business comes from his local area, but that does not stop him from socializing online. One way he does it is to find chat rooms and social network sites that cater to his type of business.

In his downtime he heads online and answers questions people may have that he is an expert at. Because of the sites he is on allows automatic signatures, he has set that up to show his contact information. He says it has been a great way to get to know people and once and a while he will pull a customer from there. He says more importantly each customer he lands could grow into more customers through word of mouth advertising. The best part of this socialization technique is that it only cost him some of his time. Whatever your business is or whatever products your sell, get involved in a forum where you can share your expertise.

Next up are the social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, Furl and Stumble. These sites allow you to post information about yourself, your business, and hobbies and so on. You also build a friend`s list. This list could potentially be your customer base.

Here on our website we participate in all of those social networking sites. We have built up a huge following because we contribute useful information to the business community. You need to do the same. Those sites are free to join and very popular.

So there are two great ways to increase your exposure for your business online. I can not guarantee that it will make you as successful as Donald Trump, but I can tell you with a consistent approach to building your following, you will be well on your way to finding new customers.

The Key to Wealth Accumulation

- By: Noel Swanson, 2008-03-05

Like many children, Dan Kuschell loved baseball. Growing up in inner city Detroit, he had dreams of leaving his impoverished world to play pro ball. His dream came true, but only briefly. After an injury, he was forced to quit during the first season. With his baseball dream shattered, Dan went back to school. He wanted to teach others.

After coaching college baseball for two years, Dan Kuschell found himself in direct marketing, a career he never would have guessed to try because he's such a shy person. Over the course of about ten years, Dan attended over 100 seminars and took many home study courses to try to be the best he could be. He struggled for the first few years, but with the help of some mentors in the business, Dan became a highly successful direct marketer.

Dan Kuschell uses his knowledge and experience today to teach companies and individuals about the Prosperity Formula, a sort of magnetic prosperity catcher. The concept contains three simple questions: "What am I grateful for right now?", "What am I happy about right now?" and "What have I done well today?" Participants are to write ten answers to each question both morning and night.

Dan Kuschell runs many successful businesses today grossing approximately $20 million per year. He took the three Prosperity Formula questions and turned them into the "Three Pillars for Success". Those pillars are mindset, marketing mastery, and communication mastery. Mindset is the key to success. If you don't believe you can do something, you won't be able to do it.

Getting started making money is fairly easy in theory, but it takes a bit of thought and planning. You'll need to sell for great profit something that costs you little or nothing to produce, but that is worth great value to someone else. A great example of this is a quality list. The more quality leads you have on your list, the more valuable it will be to others.

Dan's best marketing tool is a crazy idea that even he had a hard time using at first: giving away your best for free. Why would anyone want to do such a thing? How can you make money on lesser products when people already have the valuable one they want?

The answer is quite simple. When you give away something very valuable, your database will very quickly and very easily grow in quality and number. If you give away something of little value, people will assume you have nothing else. Why would they come back for nothing? When you give away your best, you have to keep coming up with newer, better ideas to keep the profits rolling in.

Through Dan Kuschell's program Prosperity Based Living, people can learn in only seven days about wealth accumulation, prosperity, and abundance. Every day, people are turning their dreams into reality whether those dreams are financial in nature, or whether they're mental, physical, social, or spiritual. You can accumulate wealth if you have the right tools: mindset, marketing mastery, and communication mastery.

Let Kuschellteach you all about wealth accumulation! Learn the knowledge of his Prosperity Formula and rock your world. Visit Dan Kuschell and become wealthier today!

How to design ebook covers?

- By: Ted Peterson, 2008-03-04

Ebook covers and software box covers are the first thing visitors see on your website. If you create a beautiful cover design, your possibilities of attracting more users are a lot higher than the case you have a poor cover for your product.

The scenario of creating/getting a beautiful design is a lot better than jumping to a bad design in haste, which might cost you all your hard work and serious efforts in promoting your product. A bad design might not succeed in attracting potential customers to give your product a change. They will move on with their search.

Creating a cover design for your products can be a really painful job, especially when you are not sure what layout is the best for you. I looked around for a cheaper solution and I found cover creator software. It can be used to make your own funky design in minutes without any hard work at all.

This type of software is far better than spending hundreds of dollars on a professional design, and at the end of the day you are still not happy with it.

With a cover creator software you can now design a wide variety of covers, like ebook cover, cd covers, dvd covers, software boxes and even covers for magazines.

Using this type of software is pretty easy. The application interface shows you a cool 3D look with great camera focus, where you can rotate and watch the object movement in any direction by a click and move of the mouse. The camera position can be further adjusted using the X, Y, Z axes and the light color effects. Pictures like BMP, GIF, JPEG and even PSD files can be imported and used to enhance the overall look.

I checked a lot of products, and all of them have a smooth GUI, and I learned very fast how to work with them. Some of them have resizing options, which allows a user to specify length, width, height of the cover he/she intends to design. This way user can create custom boxes, from pizza box cover to drinks box covers. The shadow effect is very good feature and it gave a professional look to my cover design. Almost all products offer demos of their abilities,

and even samples and templates available free of charge on the product website. All of them can be downloaded and installed very easy.

Multi language support is available for languages like English, German and French giving an extra amount of boost to the internet users around the globe.

I found that ebook cover software are a cheap way to give my products a professional look. Easy to use, I can build nice looking covers for software boxes, ebooks, CDs or DVDs, without paying for each of them.

Ted P Peterson uses cover creator software to design ebook covers, CD covers, DVD covers and software boxes. His favourite is eCover Engineer from Adolix.
