RSS Directories !

It is advantageous to have an AddMe Book Mark button. That web or blog page wherein you insert it will be bookmarked socially, that is it will be sent to 26 Social Book Marking sites, like del.icio.us, technorati, spurl, furl etc, sending you more traffic.

It is also advantageous to have an Addme Subscribe Feed Button. It will submit your RSS Feed to feed directories like My MSN, My AOL, Bloglines etc.

I have given these two buttons on my blog and web pages.

I found an excellent site, www.yourfeeds.com, which submits your rssfeed to 21 feed directories. You can try this site.

Social Bookmarking

Yesterday I did a thorough research about Social Bookmarking and incorporated the logo of Addme to my site. It gives links to 26 Social Bookmarking sites !

Any webpages can be bookmarked by our readers and can be uploaded to Social Bookmarking sites, like Google Bookmarks, Spurl, Furl, Newsvine, My Yahoo Web etc, where our pages will be displayed for the public. This, they say, will send traffic to our sites !

Free Submission to 34 Search Engines !

Here is a free submission serivice which you can use. I used this to submit my fourth site, www.articlewisdom.com today. This link is given at the bottom of the blog along with Addme and Submit Plus. You can use all three - Addme which submits to 14 search engines, Submit Plus which submits to 110 SEs and now www.searchenginesubmission.biz, which submits urls to 34 SEs !

http://www.searchenginesubmission.biz

FREE URL Submission - Submit your site to dozens of top search engines for FREE. No strings attached!
In our last post, we talked about the marketing strategies of Push, Pull and Dangle.

Writing is an art and Web Copywriting is an art tailor made for the Web. Website or Blog designing is nothing but Adcopywriting! You can in order to promote your website , employ others to do the Copywriting.

Profits from the Web are not easy to get. You have to generate leads and convert leads. You know the Lead Qualification Process - 8,4,2,1 ! If you get 8 leads, 4 presentations will be heard, two sales quotes and one sale ! You can get experts to do the job for you.

Webcopywriting has secrets, it has to appeal to the reader. The Who, What, When and Where are answered by a Copywriter, and includes the Why and the How. The Who is the customer, what is the product or service you are promoting, why is the benefits that accrue to the customer, how is how he gets your product !

Web Marketing Tips - Push, Pull & Dangle!

There are three well known Web Marketing strategies. They are Push, Pull
& Dangle.

The Push Strategy

This is submitting your url to the search engines. Also your press release
to the sites which accept press release.

I use Addme.com, which submits the url to the major 14 search engines free. Also Submit Plus, which submits to 110 search engines free.

You can write a press release and submit to PRWeb. There are many sites which
accept free Press release.

Pull Strategy

This is the most important strategy. Write an article, with a resource box which contains your dot com, your mobile no etc. You have to submit it to article directoris. I have given a list of article directories in my previous blog.

It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword. That statement cannot be truer on the Web, which is a written medium.

If you submit your article to the article directories, readers and publishers ( Webmasters, ezine publishers, ebook publishers ) visit the directories for content and they will download your articles and publish them. You get free publicity and exposure. People click on the hyperlinks and lo ! they have come to your site. This is called Article Marketing, which is another synonym for Viral Marketing.

You can compile your articles into an ebook and give them away. The ebook should contains your site's hyperlinks. Readers will click on your links and visit your site.

Remember, Traffic is Internet Gold. Without traffic, you cannot succeed. You have to bring people to the site and then only can you market.

Dangle Strategy

This stratedy I used heavily in order to promote my three websites, http://www.eastrovedica.com, http://www.astrologiavedica.com & http://www.astrognosis.com. We gave Numerology Reports free, sometimes even Astrology Reports. Many clients came back to buy our infoproducts !

Hope these tips will be useful to market your dotcoms !

Web Marketing

Now I am promoting my fourth site, www.articlewisdom.com, which is now in its infancy. It was launched on the 13th of December.

It is now in its Balarishta, or the period known as the infantile period. Every site has to go through this period.

My other sites had gone through this phase. Eastrovedica went through this phase and I had to use the Push and Pull strategies of Marketing.

The Push Strategy of Marketing is submitting the urls to the search engines, first to the main search engines. I use Addme.com, which gives free submission to 14 search engines, most of them major search
engines.

I use Submit Plus, a submission service to 110 search engines, most of them minor. ( If you go to the bottom of this blog, you can see the Icon of Submit Plus, which can be used to submit your websites to these 110 search engines ). Submit Plus submits your website to 110 search engines free.

The other method, ( this is the most important method ) is the Pull Strategy of Viral Marketing.

This method is to use the pen, which is mightier than the sword. Writing articles about your favourite subject and submitting it to Article Directories. At the bottom of the article is the Resource Box, which includes your Bio and details about your website. Links should be set to hyperlinks. Anybody who reads the article, reads the resource box and cliks the site link and visits your site !

Blog your Way to the Bank

Haven't you heard about the Blog Marketing Explosion ? Blogs are weblogs, updated weekly or daily. It is an online diary or journal. Blogs have become more popular than websites. There is no need to know HTML, no need to arrange files like a librarian, no need to design webpages ! All you have to do is to write whatever that comes to your mind ( as you write in a diary or journal ) and blog it on free blog servers, like www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.com ! Lo ! you have created a readership.

There is one author, who quit his job due to Blogging ! The donations which he got from his blog outnumbered his salary. There is nothing wrong in asking your readers donations ! After all, a writer has to live ! Displaying Google Adsense ads or other ads can definitely generate revenue.

I started Blogging three months ago. I was excited when I first got my Google check. I have 3 websites and 10 blogs and blogs contribute 30% to my earnings !

You are writing a lot of things in your diary. Why can't you write the same in a Blogger and get paid for it ?

Blogs are used in Marketing ! You can highlight your products and services and it will be read by the international community. You will be regarded as an expert !

25% Cyberspace has become Blogosphere, a term coined by William Quick. ( " The intellectual cyberspace which we occupy, I call it the Blogosphere " ) !

You can create a lot of blogs, like I did ( I created 10 ). Every post becomes a blog page and you can display ads on each page and get paid for it ! I created more than 350 blog pages with Google Ads !

Think of Jason Calanicas ! Or Joel Comm. They make a six figure income from Adsense. Joel is known as Dr Adsense.

For writing in a diary nobody pays you offline. But online, you are paid !

Content is King. Whether it is a site or a Blog. If you can write good content, if you can search engine optimise your blog, then you can succeed ! This is Prosperity Thinking !

There are 50 million blogs out there. Yours have to be good. You can submit your blogs to the Blog directories like Technorati and Postami. You can create xml feeds and submit it to feed directories. You can Blogtimise or optimise your Blogs. More blogs means more blog pages and you increase your chances of getting paid from PPC ( pay per click ) ads !

Social Skills and the 5 Keys to Winning Friends

By Peter Murphy

Having good social skills is very important. You interact with people
throughout your day and being able to do so skillfully will help you.

Not only in a work environment where social skills allow you to build
business, but also on a personal level where you gain friends through
your people skills.

Knowing the basics will help you to build good people skills that can
make you successful in building good relationships.

Social skills are the way you interact with other people. It includes
the way you talk, your body language and how you treat others in general.

We start building social skills at birth. We learn how to talk, how to
react in certain situations and how to act towards others by what we
learn from those around us.

If you have problems with your people skills it is easiest to fix them
by looking at the basics.

1. Learn to stay calm.

You should not be nervous or worried during your social interactions.
This only leads to mistakes and others seeing you as being aloof. You
can also focus more on others and the conversation if you are calm.

2. Watch your body language.

Much of our conversation is based on body language. You can make
others feel uncomfortable with body language or you can make them feel
at ease. Body language includes hand gestures and facial expressions
as well, so watch fidgeting or weird facial movements.

3. Learn to be interested in others.

This comes natural to most, but for others focusing on someone else
can be hard. If you make eye contact and listen to others you will
learn how to focus on them and not other things around you.

You will come across as genuinely being interested in others and
people tend to enjoy interacting with someone who cares.

4. Look at how you use your social skills.

Before trying to change you should take a look at how you interact
now. See what seems to be wrong so you know exactly what to work on.

5. Work on your general conversation skills.

You may need to brush up your communication skills if you find you
have problems just carrying on a conversation. You should look at good
conversation starters, how to handle others during a conversation,
body language skills and small talk skills. Knowing how to be a good
conversationalist will help your social skills immensely.

These five points cover the basics of people skills that everyone
should know. If you go through and learn all five you should be able
to tackle any problems you have with social skills.

popular free report: 10 Simple Steps to Developing Communication
Confidence. This report reveals the secret strategies all high
achievers use to communicate with charm and impact. Apply now because

Article Marketing Is Equal To Viral Marketing

Written by Chris Peterson

Article marketing is a cost-effective method of marketing your Web site
and services, and driving up your search engine ranking in the process.
Studies allege that Article Marketing is 7-10 times more effective
strategy than regular advertising. Writing and submitting your own
articles is equivalent to FREE ADVERTISING on the Web. In general, this
form of marketing is where you write an article about a topic that is
related to your website content, using highly searched keywords in
strtegic places throughout. This is an extremely powerfull form of
advertising for your business and when mastered, can literally help your
business earn money on auto-pilot.

Now that you`ve heard about the Article Marketing Revolution. Your next
step should be to start writing about a niche topic, that your business
website revolves around and a highly searched keyword. Your first entry
into the world of article marketing is mastering the fundamentals, but
remeber that submitting your writtings to the free directories is not a
one time event, but a process. Discover user submitted websites on article
marketing and related content to research just what people are writting
about and what niche topics publishers and webmasters are looking for to
reprint. Then take a look at marketing your affiliate programs, within
your authors resource box at the bottom of your article for addittional
income streams . The true key to good article marketing is to remain
constant and consistent. With the challenges involved with reciprocal link
building, generating incoming links through this method has proven highly
effective.

The viral effect of article marketing is a benefit that I love about this
method of promotion. Viral marketing has its own terms like anything else,
and instead of making you run around the Net trying to find linking
partners, your articles will do that for you day and night, automatically.
Because it's both free and viral, article marketing is obviously the most
cost-effective of all advertising methods on the internet today. The
benefits of utilizing this free resource can be, and very often are,
extreme and immediate. A well-written, useful article will acquire hits
and encourage viral marketing for years to come for your business website.
Not only will the search engines find you through all the links from your
articles, they will reward you with free traffic. Your consistant writing
can also help you gain name recognition as an expert in your field.

If you get up day after day to work long, long hours at a job
and still find you can barely pay your bills at the end of the
month, don't feel like you're the only one. New statistics from
the US Census show literally millions and millions of Americans
are struggling through the same experience.

While many of us are working longer more hectic days than at
any time in decades, we're still earning about the same pay.
Meanwhile, the cost of everything from gas to insurance is
going through the roof. No wonder you don't see that many
people smiling any more - there's not that much to smile about!

That is, unless you own your own home business. A huge number
of Americans are now pulling down a fine part-time or full-time
income from one or more businesses they run from home.

Often the home business entrepreneurs make money from a skill
they learned on the job or in the military, or they sell a
product they make in their home, or expand a hobby into a
business.

"But I don't have anything like that to base my home business
around," you say. Don't worry. There are wonderful business
opportunities out there that not only show you how to set up
and run your business, but have products and services you can
sell for big commissions.

What? You hate to sell? I'm guessing you're thinking that
because that's exactly how MOST people feel. Not many of us are
cut out to be sales people. We just don't feel comfortable
trying to sell our wares to complete strangers.

These days you don't have to like to sell to own a very
successful home business. New automated online systems use
state of the art web sites to quickly pull in vast numbers of
prospects.

Then a professional sales team talks with all the prospects to
choose the best and get them excited to buy. After the customer
buys, a check is sent directly to you. You do NO selling!

It's a remarkable marketing, prospecting, selling, and customer
service system all rolled into one extremely affordable package.

Instead of spending hours or days you don't have licking
envelopes, making long distance calls, and conducting home
meetings, you simply let the automated system do the job for
you.

I know lots of people who use this kind of automated help and
earn thousands each week working as little as a few minutes a
day. About all they do is check their sales statistics.

Imagine, a job where all you do is collect your check! It's
really that simple in today's fabulous home businesses. Don't
put off starting yours today. You'll enjoy your business and be
miles ahead financially.

business system at http://www.Retire4Good.net. You never have to

Get Rid Of Your Clutter: Focus On What You

================== ARTICLE START ==================
I've started working more and more with attraction both for
myself and with my clients. Some of you may already have heard
of the Universal Law of Attraction. For those that haven't here
is a short overview:

You get what you focus on. So if you are focusing on what you
want you will get more of it. Conversely the opposite is true.

It's the feelings we have which draw things towards us. Spend
time getting into the 'feeling' place of what you really want.

Take positive inspired action with what you want always in
mind. Action gets the wheels in motion.

The more and more you work in this way the better things
become. You will begin to notice pleasant synchronicities
during your day and then once the wheels are really in motion
positive things will begin to happen frequently and
unexpectedly.

So How is This relevant to Clutter?

We see our clutter as mainly negative. Something we want to
move away from. It's uninspiring, it drags us down and limits
us.

So the less time we spend thinking and worrying about it . the
better .

1) So what do you want? How do you want your environment to be?
This is what you focus on!
Here are some words that may describe your ideal environment:

cosy, clear, clean, bright, organized, homely, fresh, relaxed,
ordered, effective, stylish, new, calm, modern, antique,
productive

What are your words?

2) Spend time nourishing your vision of your ideal environment.
How will you feel in this environment? Close your eyes. Imagine
how it will be. Some people find it helpful to build collages
of their ideal environment; others like to write it down. Some
just like to visualize in their minds eye. How will you get
into the zone of what you want?

The stronger your vision and your positive feelings are the
quicker you will move towards what you want. Then the easier it
will be to move away from a cluttered way of life to the way of
life that you actually want and choose to create.

3) What inspired action can you take today to move you towards
your ideal environment?

Happy Creating!

Website Development - Know What You Want, First!

Want to waste thousands of dollars on your website development?
No?! Then make sure you figure out exactly what you want BEFORE
you approach a website development company.

It may seem like obvious advice, but in reality, many people
approach website development companies without first
formulating a clear web strategy, clarifying objectives and
expectations. This hasty sort of approach to website
development invariably costs the customer a lot of money - and
they end up with a website that doesn't meet their needs.

So how do you get the website that meets your requirements
within the budget you have? Plan, plan, PLAN!

Some of the questions you need to answer before embarking on
your website development:

1) Why do you need a website?
2) What kind of website do you need?
3) Who is your target audience?
4) How do you plan to attract visitors to the site?
5) What are some of the graphical design considerations?
6) Will the site target both domestic and international
visitors?
7) What is the visitor trying to achieve?
8) How will your website support or integrate with the rest of
your business?
9) What structural implications should you consider?
10) How will you update the content?
11) Who should you talk to about website development?
12) Who do you talk to about hosting your website?
13) What is your website development budget?

1) WHY DO YOU NEED A WEBSITE?
Websites are generally designed to support one or more of the
following objectives:

. provide information
. facilitate online transactions
. drive visitors to a physical location
. facilitate communication

Websites also support brand image and awareness. In today's
information-rich environment, customers are becoming far more
savvy and conduct thorough research prior to making decisions.
Having a good, informative and accurate website could mean the
difference between winning the client and not.

Websites are also extremely important for contact details as a
lot of readers refer to website as a quick reference.

What's more, a website provides 24x7 access, so your customers
and potential customers have access to the site outside of
normal business hours (ideal for supporting promotions, general
e-commerce and improving customer service).

2) WHAT KIND OF WEBSITE DO YOU NEED
Websites may be simply informational in nature or more complex
with transactional e-commerce shopping functionality. They may
even be designed to support Web 2.0 functionality such as BLOGs
and message boards, which can develop a community environment.

But always remember, your website needs to serve the needs of
the customers you're trying to attract and retain. Before
committing to the feature set of your website development, make
sure you can link every feature back to a customer need.

3) WHO IS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE
Who is your typical reader? Think about your readers; are they
young or old, wealthy or poor, male or female, computer techies
or novices? Are your readers just researching or are they in
buy-online mode? Are they local or international, or both? Will
language be a barrier? Will font size be a consideration for
those with poorer eyesight?

Once you have ascertained who your audience is, you need to
design the website to suit that audience.

4) HOW DO YOU PLAN TO ATTRACT VISITORS TO YOUR WEBSITE?
Marketing your site is critical. It can be marketed
electronically using search engines such as Google, Yahoo and
MSN and/or offline using traditional advertising and promotions
strategies. It's important that you think about the marketing
strategy BEFORE website development, as it will impact the
website development process and the technology of the final
product. For example, do you plan to run Google AdWords or
banner ads? If so, will those ads need to relate to specific
landing pages containing enquiry forms, or would a single
landing page suffice? Will search engine-driven traffic be
important to you? If so, you'll need to ensure that your
website is designed and developed in search engine-friendly
way, and that your web copy is optimised for search engines.

5) WHAT ARE SOME OF THE GRAPHICAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS?
Many sites feature a large number of animations and GIF images,
which are distracting and poorly designed (in terms of colour
and fonts), and which add an unnecessary overhead to the page
(in terms of file size and speed of loading). A good website
has a balance of imagery and text. Try to be aware of things
like font size and how it might impact your readers. Colours,
fonts and alignments should be consistent from one page to the
next. The look and feel of a site needs to be simple and
consistent.

Similarly, background music, popups and Flash can be gimmicky
and annoying to visitors. Only include them if they are
appropriate to the needs of your audience.

As previously mentioned, your website needs to be more than
just a promotional tool; it should form part of your overall
marketing strategy. What looks great in print may not look good
online. Perhaps more importantly, it may not be user-friendly
(functional). So make sure you have a web designer involved in
the development.

6) WILL THE SITE TARGET BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL
VISITORS?
Consider whether you have the infrastructure to support
international readers and clients. For example, if the site is
transactional and you are selling a product, do you have
international banking or credit card facilities and the ability
to deliver overseas?

If you're going to target international readers, it's important
that you make your website global. Consider the format of the
information you display and request (e.g. zip code versus
postcode, address formats and even phone number formats) and
the style, tone, word-choice and spelling of your copy. (See
www.divinewrite.com for more information on website
copywriting.)

Another important consideration which is often overlooked in
website development is scheduled maintenance. Scheduling
maintenance for midnight in your home country may cripple your
website during peak business hours in another.

Make sure you investigate the needs of your international
market(s) and adapt your website to suit those specific needs.

7) WHAT IS THE VISITOR TRYING TO ACHIEVE?
All website visitors want or need something. They may be
researching prior to purchasing a product, looking up company
details, or trying to pay an invoice. If you want to make your
site easy for visitors to use and if you want those visitors to
keep coming back, your website development MUST accommodate the
tasks that those visitors are attempting to perform.

8) HOW WILL YOUR WEBSITE SUPPORT OR INTEGRATE WITH THE REST OF
YOUR BUSINESS?
Websites can often offer services to support and integrate with
your business. For example, you might offer online shopping to
streamline the purchase, dispatch and accounts process
(including payment gateways, stock/inventory detailing, member
or client information, etc.). Alternatively your website can
increase the effectiveness of your marketing and product
support, by spotlighting your products with extensive
information and product catalogues, emailing product
information to opt-in recipients, allowing links back to the
manufactures (if applicable), etc. You might also set up an FAQ
section on your website and encourage your visitors to read this
area before contacting your office. A feedback form might also
reduce administration overhead by allowing your readers to
contact you and request more information, etc.

9) WHAT STRUCTURAL IMPLICATIONS SHOULD YOU CONSIDER?
With websites, less is more. The simpler the structure is, the
more user-friendly it is. It all comes down to navigation;
navigation is a website's lifeblood. A poor navigation
structure can destroy a user's experience, and damage your
online image.

Sections should be obviously grouped, both logically and
visually. This makes navigation intuitive. Create a draft site
plan before website development is commenced. Discuss it with
your designers and developers, work with them to evolve it,
then leave it with them to guide them through the website
development process. This will ensure that the visual and
functional elements of your website flow and make sense.

Structure and navigation are particularly important for larger
sites and e-commerce sites. With so much competition around,
your visitors will not be prepared to expend a great deal of
energy to unravel the mysteries of a poorly planned site.
Similarly, visitors are unlikely to become buyers if the
purchase process is confusing.

10) HOW WILL YOU UPDATE THE CONTENT?
It is imperative that you update the content on your site on a
regular basis. Outdated information is useless and impacts on
your credibility and professionalism. Conversely, regularly
updated content tells your readers that you're a proactive
organisation (and it also contributes to your ranking in the
search engines).

To reduce ongoing costs and retain control of your website,
consider the benefits of building it using a Content Management
System (CMS). A good CMS lets you easily manage all content
yourself, instead of paying your web developers to do it. (This
includes adding and editing copy and images, adding and deleting
pages, and adding and deleting functionality.)

11) WHO SHOULD YOU TALK TO ABOUT WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT?
This depends what you want from your website development and
how far your budget can stretch. Is the site intended for the
short or long term? Will content need to be updated? Do you
need e-commerce, email management / e-newsletters, etc.? There
are many people who build websites and numerous approaches to
take.

Important considerations when selecting a website development
company include:

. Do they have proven website development experience?
. Are they familiar with the latest developments?
. Do they have support networks or personnel should they run
into problems?
. Are they qualified?
. Can they provide ongoing website development support?
. Do they have access to graphic designers?

It's best to find an established website development company
with a solid infrastructure and qualified staff, who can speak
with you plain English, listen to all your requirements and
develop a plan that suits your needs. Also remember to select a
website development company that you feel comfortable dealing
with.

12) WHO DO YOU TALK TO ABOUT HOSTING YOUR WEBSITE?
Your website development company should be able to suggest a
hosting company, but if not, there are a multitude of companies
listed on the Internet and in the Yellow Pages.

When considering website hosting companies, obviously you need
to ensure that they are appropriate for your budget. You need
to know that they have adequate security both via the web
(antispam, antivirus, etc.) and in their actual physical
environment (locks, alarms, etc.). You need to know that they
use hardware and software that is modern and appropriate for
the job.

Do they have a proactive backup / business continuity /
disaster recovery strategy, and the necessary software and
hardware to support it? And do they engage in scheduled
maintenance? You need to know that they are operating an
environment that is designed to minimise the likelihood of
fire, flood, theft, hardware failure, overheating, etc. But, if
the server hosting your site does, in fact fail (or is stolen or
destroyed), will your website be unavailable? Some hosting
providers offer uptime guarantees, which is great, but don't
assume this means that nothing will ever go wrong and your
website will never go down.

Also, consider bandwidth (how fast can they display your
website files). Few things are more frustrating to visitors
than slow-to-load pages, and your host can play a big part in
this.

13) WHAT IS YOUR WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT BUDGET?
Many businesses try to cut costs by engaging a student,
unqualified staff employee or friend to build their website.
Think carefully before pursuing this option, because you get
what you pay for. You'd most likely be trading-off visual
aesthetics, reliability, stability, speed, ease of use, search
engine-friendliness, and ongoing technical support. When it
comes to website development, short-term cost-cutting does not
always equate to long-term savings or return on investment.

Having said that, you should always be realistic. Consider what
sort of return on investment you require (and how quickly), and
set your budget accordingly. Then stick to your budget. If you
need to cut costs, start with the 'bells and whistles' that may
not be necessary. Flash, for instance, adds significant cost to
your website development, yet is considered annoying by many
visitors and may reduce your search engine-friendliness.

Business Good, But You Want GREAT?

Then It's Time To Kick-Start 2007

Businesses can do well without planning, many do. However,
to become a high performing organization, to grow rapidly,
a company really needs a planning and monitoring process.
Got yours? I sure do have mine!

Back in 2000 a major shift in my business occurred when I
came across the One Page Business Plan (R) process. Now,
don't let the simplicity of the name fool you. While the
process helps you create a business and marketing plan -
its much more.

. Help you diagnosis how every area of your business is
doing.
. Clarify your thinking and focus on the elements that are
the most critical to your success.
. Test your ideas without having to put large amounts of
cash at risk.
. Help you to boost the profits and performance of your
small company or department.
. Be ready to be used over and over again.

If you're on a budget, as many new business owners are, you
can purchase the workbook that includes the Entrepreneur
Toolkit CD (for PC and MAC use) at your favorite bookstore,
although it's easier to find online. It includes
systematic, practical, interactive exercises and templates,
worksheets, powerful sales calculators, mini-sales budgets,
one page performance scorecards, sample plans, and bonus
tools! All created in programs you usually have on your
computer -- MS Excel and Word files.

If you're a more seasoned business owner, department
manager or executive, you can sit down at your PC to create
your plan in courseware called Point, Click, Plan. Your
solid draft will be complete in 1-2 hours.

Together with reading the E-myth Revisited, by Michael
Gerber, creating a business plan are "mandatory to do's"
for all business owners. Why? because the E-myth shows you
what happens when you don't have a plan and systems and how
much better off you'll be with them. And the One-Page
Business Plan processR helps you simply create your plans
and systems to monitor your progress. Creating a plan now,
will save you hours upon hours worth of your valuable time
and will help you make fewer large and costly mistakes.

Isn't that what you need as a business owner? Systems that
work and more time to do what you're passionate about?
Below are 10 key elements of any process. Most are taken
from the One-Page Business PlanR workbook, by Jim Horan.

1. It helps you choose opportunities more wisely and waste
less time because you have a plan in place.
2. A single page can contain all the elements you need to
tell your employees, board of directors, potential partners
or banker where you are taking your business and how you
are going to get there.
3. The most important reason to have a business plan is to
clarify your thinking, regardless of the size of your
company.
4. Knowing where you're going creates hope and enthusiasm
about the future.
5. It facilitates creating and analytical thinking, problem
solving, communication, and teamwork.
6. It also brings out procrastination, frustration,
differences of opinions and possibly anger.
7. Somehow writing initiates the transformation from idea
to reality.
8. Writing allows others to participate in your dream and
give you feedback.
9. You review it each day to create the day's priorities
and make decisions about your business.
10. The Entrepreneur CD, which comes with the book,
including scorecards, templates, budgets, and bonus tools
to help keep you on track!

The One and Only Purpose of Advertising

I migrated to New Zealand around four years back and because of my interest in real estate investing I decided to become a commercial real estate agent to learn insider secrets of investing in my new
adopted country. It was a very brave step considering my background of a retired naval officer. I had zero experience in making any kind of sale.

I started advertising in the newspapers and slowly my customer list began to grow. I soon discovered that it was impossible for me to contact my clients on telephone or through postal mail when a
new property came up on the market because it was simply too time consuming. I then hit upon the idea of creating e-mail mailing lists on outlook express. I divided my clients into various investment categories and sent them details of properties that were of interest to them. I also sent them regular news letters. I did not realize that I had accidentally
hit upon the idea of e-mail marketing. Whenever I sent details of a property to my clients invariably I received 5 to 10 inquires which resulted in one or two offers. Soon other agents in the company realized I
was getting so many offers that they started approaching me with their properties to sell and my business grew. Within a very short period of time I became one of the top selling agent in my
company. Whenever a new customer responded to my newspaper or a web advertisement, I request them for their e-mail address before asking for their telephone number. I knew that my sales came from repeated offers made through e-mails to my list. That in a nut
shell was the true secret of my success.

The tragedy is that when I started marketing on the internet I missed this basic point of inherent strength of the e-mail lists and got carried away by the hype of short cut and lazy methods such as ad blasting, buying guaranteed sign ups etc and in doing so parted with lot of my hard earned money to the so called Internet gurus.

Fortunately I realized my mistake and got back to the basic success formula of generating qualified opt in lists to succeed online.

I will be brutally blunt with you. If you do not have a responsive list of subscribers who have
agreed to receive your offers then You simply Do Not Have An Online Business!

It sounds a bit harsh (I know), but from personal experience I can assure you that the good old myth is 100% true. The Money Is In The List!

But please do not perceive it as a myth, face the facts and drill it in your head that you NEED to build a list.

You see, many marketers report making $1 per month - per subscriber. This means that if you grow a responsive list of 5,000 subscribers, you can realistically expect to gross $5,000
in sales each and every month!

'When I Had No list, I Made No Money!'

It is true, I made zip, nada, zilch when I did not have a list. And although I kept hearing time after time that 'The Money Is In The List'. For some strange reason I just never built one for my internet business.

I always felt that there had to be another (easier) way to profit online, so I kept searching for a solution for 12 entire months, and guess what? It was a complete waste of time & money.

But then one day, after 12 months of grueling failure, I finally decided to devote all my time & effort to build my own cash-pulling opt-in list (that has truly been the wisest decision I've ever made)!

Today I make a very rewarding income from email marketing alone, and I'm about to reveal EXACTLY how you, too, can do the same.So keep reading!

The three basic tools you will need to start making very targeted opt-in lists for your various campaigns are:

A) Lead Capture web pages
B) A cheap hosting account for your web-sites
C) A reliable auto responder service

These are the basic tools of your trade. You simply can not build a list without these tools.

The one and only purpose of advertising is to capture the e-mail address of the visitor/ customer otherwise you are simply throwing away your advertising dollars. To achieve this your website has to be designed around a lead capture page.

Once you create your lead capture page for a program you must only advertise this page. This will give you the best bang for your advertising dollar. The name, e-mail address & other details you capture through your page are now your property. This has two advantage. Firstly you can send follow
up messages through an auto responder. It normally takes anywhere from 5 to 7 messages to establish a relationship with a potential customer and explain him the details and benefits of your product before a sale is made. Secondly, you now have the ability to make new offers and maintain an ongoing relationship.
Over a period of time you can refine this list to service your most prized clients for repeated business. Earlier you were wasting your dollar on one time advertising or acting as an agent of a program that was collecting your client list in their data pool to grow their business. Over a period of time you will build a list of highly responsive clients and your business will explode with advertising costs dramatically
being reduce.

One of the best software products for generating lead pages has been created by Gabriel Aguinaga. This lead page generator is one of the best and easiest to use.

For the hosting account I recommend Hostgator. It is very cheap at $9.95 per month and you can host multiple sites. Hostgator has multiple features. Please study their programme by visiting their website.

Aweber and Getresponse are the two most popular auto responder services. I use Getresponse because it is simple to operate & allows me to create multiple campaigns & send attachments so that I can send free e-books and offers to my clients. You can check out the services by visiting:

There are some costs involved in setting up your systems but there is no escape if you are serious about building your online business. You can not do internet business without having your own website or building your client base. Auto responders once set up correctly make this task very easy. Follow up messages go automatically without your intervention.
They put your business on auto pilot.

To succeed in business you have to assume leadership role sooner than later & create systems that leverage your time.

The money is in your List. You will need to organize
your systems and your business will not only
multiply but explode.

Nourish the spider, engage the human

Writing for the Web:Copyright (c) 2006 Rick Sloboda
Webcopyplus
www.webcopyplus.com

When you're writing for the Web, you answer to two masters:
humans and spiders.

For your website to reach its full potential, your web writing
needs to appeal to the emotional needs of your target audience as
well as the logical needs of search engine spiders.

Nourish the spider

Search engines, such as Google, identify relevant web writing for
their search results by sending spiders (or robots) to 'crawl'
and index websites. Complex sets of rules called algorithms are
then employed to determine how useful your site is and where it
should rank in the search engine results.

Given the facts that more than 500 million world-wide searches
are made daily, and search engines account for more than 85 per
cent of all new visitors to a website, Search Engine Optimization
(SEO) is by far the single most effective marketing strategy you
can use to gain online presence.

But before your webpage can be optimized, you must determine
which keywords to target. This involves:

* Finding relevant keywords
* Determining their popularity
* Assessing the amount of competition
* Deciding which keywords can be best supported with quality web
writing

The selected keywords must then be tactfully integrated into your
web writing. Search engines reward sites with well-written,
relevant and content-rich copy, so your web writing should
comprise a keyword density ratio of three to seven per cent. This
is calculated by dividing the keywords by the total number of
words on a page.

Engage the human

Once you drive traffic to your website, your web writing must
connect with visitors on an emotional level to engage them and
ultimately convert sales.

What's the quickest and most effective way to achieve this? Give
people what they want: relevant web writing!

When you're writing for the Web, recognize and address the real
needs of your visitors, and make it easy for them to find what
they need or want to know.

Do:
Engage, inform, influence and convert online visitors into
customers with clear, concise and relevant web writing.

Don't:
Bore or irritate visitors with company-centered, self-absorbed
messages, which will only guide cursors to the 'back' button.

Ignite readers' emotions by clearly communicating the benefits
of your products or services. It's amazing how many businesses,
large and small, overlook this all-important aspect, and instead
focus exclusively on features. Promoting benefits will help
visitors envision themselves experiencing your product or
service.

By providing relevant web writing, you empower visitors to make
informed decisions. This gains you instant credibility and trust,
increasing your chances to turn them into full-fledged customers.

Build Links And Popularize Your Site

What is Link Building?

Link-building is the process of obtaining inbound links from
external websites to your own site to improve both direct
referrals (people visiting your site by clicking on your links)
and search engine ranking. It can be very difficult to get
quality inbound links so I am listing a few proven methods that
you can use to build back links that will help you boost your
sites search engine rankings.

1: Article submissions
Write an article on a topic related to your site, then submit
it to free article sites. Your article can then be reprinted
all over the web, always with a link back to your website.

2: Press Release
Press releases can be very effective tool for alerting the
media to your website and getting publicity through media
coverage. You may include link to your site in the press
release, there are number of press release sites for example
prweb dot com

3: Free directory submissions
You can receive a free inbound link by submitting to hundreds
of free directories. Just make sure you follow their submission
guidelines and then be patient as it may take several months for
your site to be listed.

4: Paid directory submissions
Why pay for directory listings if you can get them for free?
Many webmasters choose to buy directory listings, for several
reasons. First of all, your site will generally be listed much
quicker (in most cases usually within 24 hours). Also, you can
often get a higher quality link from a paid submission than a
free submission as most of time paid directory will higher
pagerank.

5: Three way link exchanges
Link exchanges are arguably not as helpful as they once were,
but 3 way links are still excellent. For example you own Site A
and you will provide a link Site B and Site C will provide you
with a inbound link.

6: Forum posting
Join forums related to your site and become an active member of
forums. Of course, you can include a link to your site in your
forum signature.

7: Blog posting
Find blogs to your site and leave relevant comments on blog
posting and leave a link to your site within the comment.

As you are reading this article, I take it you want your
website to get noticed online and you want to drive some
traffic to it. Of all the marketing strategies, article writing
is one of the best, and my particular favorite, and best of all,
it's virtually free. It definitely helps your site to get a
better ranking and a better placement in the major search
engine results.

Article writing is also a good way to gain some sort of
credibility in the internet marketing world. Writing articles
for content websites is quite a bit different than writing say,
magazines articles. Don't forget that the reason every one is
banging on about article writing, is that there is no better
way to obtain a one way link and generate traffic to your
website.

If you are having trouble getting started, have a look at
published articles on the same subject as you intend to write
about. As with any subject these days, there is plenty of good
advice on article writing flying around the net, you just have
to go and look for it. Article writing is not that difficult
and is enjoyable for some, while others find it hard work. Me,
I am somewhere in between, and find the trickiest bit is coming
up with a subject that will be of interest to people.

The resource box which you put at the end of your article
should have a short bio and definitely your website address,
because this is the link through which you can generate traffic
from your articles. You may well be pleasantly surprised at the
targeted traffic it will bring to you. If you ask any
successful internet marketer of a good way to drive targeted
traffic to your website, I'd wager that article writing would
get a strong mention.

The good news is that there are loads of article submission
sites on the internet. By submitting your articles to these
sites, you are almost guaranteed to gain some traffic for your
website. Just ensure you read the submission guidelines on
these sites, as they can vary quite a bit. The article
submission sites usually stipulate a minimum and maximum amount
of words for each article; most of them want at least 250-300
words. I usually aim for 350-600, but it's your call. Well
that's, all, go and get writing. If I can do it, anybody can.

People excel in different areas of specialization. And this

There are a lot of satisfied testimonials of Abraham's superb

The secret to a business' success are its hidden assets,
undervalued possibilities, and overlooked opportunities. And
these things can only be identified by Abraham. Aside from this,
he can also identify patterns which limit or restrict the growth
of a particular business. He can look into a business' marketing
approach and effectively tell what is wrong with it. He is able
to impart to many business owners the concepts which they can
adopt to ensure market competitiveness.

Here are just a few of Jay Abraham's secret to a successful and
wealthy business venture:

* business owners should learn what they really want, and how
they want to get things done without holding back; some even go
through it all without following the status quo

* every business encounters certain obstacles and problems,
and once you triumph against all this things, you can reach the
peak of success

* always think positive, disregard negative thinking; if you
encounter problems, try to look at them as opportunities or a
solution

* the saying 'try and try until you succeed' can do miracles
and it's definitely true; giving up easily will not take you
anywhere

* business ethics is very important; never compromise, lower
standards, or sell out, take a firm stand in everything you do

* you must be able to believe and commit, and once you have
set a goal or goals, do everything possible to achieve it without
stumbling on others

* you must focus, diversions should not sway you from your
goal; focus on accomplishments

* don"(tm)t be afraid to take risks; if you think you can
attain maximum yields and minimum downside, go ahead

* have no fear; move forward, and take chances

These are just some of the secrets that Jay Abraham imparted to
people and business owner. If you absorb all these things, put it
in your mind, then you're ready to make your way to success.

You can even memorize it if you want. But don"(tm)t let it end
there; you must be able to apply it in real life. Incorporate it
in all your undertakings.

Being America's no. 1 genius, he has his very own website. Feel
free to visit the site, and perhaps you too can discover the way
to success and wealth. Any business undertaking wants to succeed,
and if you think Jay Abraham is the answer, go for it.

you're looking for to help you in your business troubles. And
perhaps, your success is just around the corner, waiting for you.

Content: How Can It Help You Generate Traffic?

The term "content" when used by Internet Marketers refers to
written words, audios or videos. Incorporating content in your
website can help you generate more traffic in a number of ways.

How Does Content Help You Get More Traffic?
Search engines love website that offer valuable content. No
matter what type of site you have, you can leverage this to
increase the traffic to your website. Whether you have an
online store, a forum, or a blog, you can add content to
generate traffic.

Also, visitors just plain love sites that offer free content.
Personally, if I go to a website that is just a storefront, I
may be hesitant to buy. However, if I come in and click around
a bit and get to know more about the owners and their products,
I may just pull out my wallet.

Plus, content makes websites "sticky". This means that, if a
visitor comes to a website and finds good information (in any
format), they are more likely to return than if they just land
on a sales page.

How can you Add Content to your Website?
1. Add articles to your website. You can use a mix of your own
unique content, free reprint articles and Private Label Rights
(PLR) articles.

2. Add a blog. If you don't want to add articles directly to
your site, then create a blog where you can talk about your
products or services and list special offers. You can add
articles to your blog, or simply chat and showcase specials and
uses for your products and services. Establish yourself as an
expert and people will come back for more.

3. Tweak your product descriptions. This is a simple way to
increase the content on your website (and, possibly, increase
sales). Just add more text to your product descriptions in your
storefront - be more descriptive, and you'll be providing more
content.

4. Ask for comments and feedback. No matter what kind of
website you have, incorporating comments from others can help
make your website more valuable.

5. Add testimonials. Simple and effective, testimonials not
only make your site appear more trustworthy, but they also add
content for search engines.

6. Archive your newsletters. If you publish a weekly
newsletter, archive your previous issues on your website.

7. Add audio. It's simple and easy to record and publish audio
online now, with services that do everything for you. Interview
someone or have someone interview you. Include your interviews
on your website for added credibility and information for your
visitors.

8. Frequently Asked Questions. Keep track of the customer
service questions you receive, and answer them on a FAQ page.
You'll add content and spend less time answering repeat
questions from your potential clients.

SEO

If you are shopping for an SEO company, there are two things you
should know about the content aspect of any search engine
optimization strategy:

1. Properly optimized copy is hugely important to the search
engines, right up there with link popularity and spider friendly
coding. Run like the wind if you encounter an SEO company that
doesn't understand the significance of content or offers shoddy,
cookie cutter style copywriting.

2. The proof is in the pudding. Always ask to see samples or visit
websites they have optimized so you can scope out their content for
yourself. Be very picky.

Here's why.

As an SEO copywriter who's been around for while, I sometimes
receive invitations from SEO companies looking for freelancers to
write optimized content. Usually they want writers who will churn
out thousands of words for a few bucks.

Recently, I received one of those email invitations from a UK-based
SEO firm. And when you read the following, I want you to pay
particular attention to the stark difference between the pitch they
use to entice writers to work for them, and the sales pitch they
present on their website to entice SEO clients.

First of all, here's what their website tells the public:
"(Name of company) will provide: A team of experienced content
writers who are trained in writing quality Search Engine Optimised
Content. "

Now take a look at the qualifications they are actually looking for
when they seek out copywriters to work for them. This is a direct
quote from their invitation to freelance writers:

"Writing the content is simply a case of cutting and pasting
different bits of information, whilst adhering to a few easy rules
such as beginning each opening sentence with a key word etc, it is
not necessary to have a journalism background, anybody can do it!"

Aside from being misleading and insulting to web writers, this
approach totally ignores one crucial fact of online content: human
beings read it. Human beings make buying decisions based upon it.
And human beings know the difference between a slap dash cut-and-
paste job, and informative benefit-laden content that instills trust
and creates an appetite for a product or service.

What's even more insidious about these SEO companies is that often
their copywriting services are embedded as part of a total package
deal. Many prospects will simply look at the optimization services
listed, check the price tag, and sign the contract... and then
suffer buyers remorse for the duration of the deal.

How To Avoid SEO Buyers Remorse:

-Before signing that paper, review the SEO company's portfolio of
work carefully.

-Visit their clients' websites and read the copy. Would it persuade
you?

-If possible, make contact with a few of their clients and ask about
their experience and results.

-If you reach the contract stage, read the fine print religiously as
loopholes and exceptions abound among unscrupulous vendors of SEO
services.

And always remember this wise proverb: "Wed in haste, repent at your
leisure." Same thing with search engine optimization.

You've got products. You've got a website. You've even got some
traffic (hey, even a little traffic is some!) Now comes the
clincher for any business. To make money, you need to entice
online visitors to buy your stuff.

How can you do this? Well, you can't grab hold of their hands
and make them click the "Buy Now" button. But you can do
specific things that may help them decide to click on it
themselves.

In my line of work as a client attraction marketing coach to
small businesses, I've seen many business owners who
consistently let visitors click off to web wonderland rather
than convincing guests to buy their wares. These businesses may
have products or services that are just as good or better than
their competitors, but they're missing out on some key
information about how to convert page views into sales.

Relationship-Building: The Missing Link to Online Money-Making

To understand how your visitor's online experience can lead
them down the buying path, first "become" your visitor. What
convinces you to buy things from other websites? Being human,
most of us are more eager to buy from companies or people whom
we feel we like, know, and trust.

An online customer can't look you in the eye, shake your hand,
and think, "Hey, I like, know, and trust this person!" The good
news is that by taking shrewd advantage of the the multimedia
nature of the internet and the power of good writing, you can
give your visitors the experience of having a positive,
personal relationship with you.

Here are some tips for boosting your personal relationship with
customers to help them feel an intimate connection that makes
them more likely to buy from you.

Before I share the tips. I ask that you make an intention.
Intend to use tips that reach you. You are reading this article
for a reason.

Ten Relationship-Building Tips

1. Show
Post photos of your employees and your workplace. This helps
visitors feel more like they know you.

2. Tell
Add audio clips of you speaking about your products or
services. Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) tells us that many
of us learn with our ears as well as our eyes -- don't miss out
on this additional way to connect.

3. Educate
We all like learning new things. Help customers like you more
by providing them with useful articles.

4. Share
Showcase your generosity by providing visitors with other
people's articles and links to pertinent websites.

5. Care
Ask for feedback and comments. This helps customers know that
you're in the business of serving them and that you take their
opinions seriously.

6. Clarify
Define any confusing terms in your copy. Let them know exactly
what you want them to do for you. People like to follow clear
instructions. When people feel comfortable with their online
experience, they're more willing to purchase.

7. Be an Expert
Don't let people choose between you and your competitors. Let
them know that you're the only one who can help them. Write
articles, create presentations, and demonstrate your expertise.

8. Be Genuine
When writing website copy, direct your message to one person
who represents your target audience. Personalize your marketing
emails by using people's first names and other personal
information.

9. Relate
Convince your target audience that you know and understand
their problems by sharing stories and specific examples.

10. Stay in Touch
Don't let prospective customers slip away. Make every effort to
get them to give you their first name and email address by
offering them a free ebook or report. Stay in touch with
prospective customers by sending them a regular e-newsletter

One of my clients, Tracy Jones, sought out my coaching services
to help her brand and market a new program in Austin called
"Tracy's Picks." Tracy's company helps restaurants serve
portion-controlled meals to their customers and educates
customers on the benefits of purchasing these meals.

Like many small businesses, Tracy had a website that wasn't
taking full advantage of the internet's potential to help
customers "know, like, and trust" her business. It's a good,
clean website, but it needed to be tweaked to help customers
really feel a connection to Tracy and her business.

I recommended that Tracy:

1. Change her photo to a more intimate shot that would help
customers feel a greater sense of closeness with her.

2. Move her opt-in box higher up on the page to encourage more
visitors to sign up for her newsletter.

3. Add a picture of the free ebook that people receive when
they sign up for her newsletter.

4. Post a blog, which serves the dual purpose of providing
fresh content for search engines and helps people learn about a
company in a more personal way.

5. Provide articles and outgoing pertinent links.

Your Homework

As a client attraction marketing coach, I can't leave you
without assigning some homework to help your rev-up your site
up to its full relationship-building potential.

Go to your website now and take a good look at it. Go on, I'll
wait.

Now ask yourself:, "If I were a new visitor to this site, would
I feel that I 'know, like, and trust' this business?" What could
be added or changed to make my experience with this business
feel more personal and inviting? (Hint: re-read my Ten
Relationship-Building Tips above).

Write down what you as a prospective customer would like to see
that could help you make a decision to purchase your website's
products. When I say write, I mean write. Get out a piece of
paper and pen and jot down your ideas.

Now make a commitment to implement these ideas on your site.

Presto, you've just increased your potential visitor-to-buyer
conversion rate. And you've done it without paying a penny in
advertising or pay-per-click fees.

It just goes to show that a personal touch still goes a long
way, even across the wires.
